ACIEK Sorbonne Virtual Conference 2021

Given the impact of COVID-19 and the current global uncertainty surrounding travel due to the pandemic, the 14th ACIEK Conference (June 2021) will be held as ACIEK 2021-Sorbonne Virtual Conference (on streaming and/or pre-recorded, this will depend on participants).

We have no option but to adapt since we are aware of our responsibility in taking precautionary measures to ensure the safety of our participants by replacing physical meetings with telecommunications as much as possible.

To achieve the stated objectives, we will provide the means for all authors to present their papers and attend the other presentations in the technical program.

The same strategy will be used for the keynote speeches and the presentations by editors on how to publish in their journals.

Also a new initiative to expand your network will also be launched at ACIEK Sorbonne Virtual Conference 2021, with the creation of a council of more than 20 research interest groups.

We will soon be providing details of these groups. This information will appear on the ACIEK website.

This virtuality is an opportunity too, in order to discover new tools that help us connect with people in the distance.

In our case, we will do it through Zoom, where you will be able to access by using you own ACIEK credentials, and explore around the different rooms where the conference will be held.

We are working hard and putting all our effort and desire for this to be a nice and accurate experience for all of us by creating a new concept of virtual conference.
